To get started, you will need accurate measurements of your room, including doorways, windows and other openings. You can download our How to Measure guide to assist you by clicking on the icon to the right.
Whether you plan to use your existing appliances or buy new ones, you will need their outside dimensions (width x depth x height)
Once you have completed steps 1 and 2, you can use our online design tool to input your room dimensions and begin placing your cabinets. Once you have completed the design, you will be able to print a floor plan and elevations of each wall.
 
Creating a work triangle in your kitchen can cut down on excess movement by centering your work space. Why waste time running around the kitchen when you can be playing with your kids or taking some quality time for yourself?
 
Rules of thumb for the basic work triangle are as follows:
  • No one side of the triangle should be greater than nine feet or less than four feet.
  • The triangle should not be interrupted by traffic or cabinetry.
  • The perimeter of the triangle should measure no more than 26 feet and no less than 12 feet.
